Greetings,

Sad news to report. Astronaut John Glenn passed away. Smile Jamaica loves anything to do with Space Travel. John Glenn was a pioneer and I pay tribute to him with some UFO-ria. Those astronauts reported strange encounters with unknown entities while probing space.

When they reported back to Ground Zero at NASA, they were yelled at, “Get off the public comm channel!”

They exist. Do not scoff. Too bad we wasted trillions on war. All that money for space exploration we should at least be having deejays spin anti gravity dubwize on Mars.

In the same way that Alt News (slandered as fake news by the Old Media farts) is a skeptical reaction to newspapers and cable news, The Astro-Theologists on Ancient Aliens are challenging what I have called Archaeo Imperialism.

Greetings,

Been on a cratedig during the Thanksgiving Holiday. So I have been away from the decks at KRCL Smile Jamaica.

My fascination beyond Reggae is what I have called Mutant Dub for nearly 30 years: Take Reggae drum & bass and weld it on to contemporary dance, dub echo and modern pulsating electro beats.

So I hunkered down in my Secret Dubratory this week and cooked up what I call Digital Dubplate shows. Bonus roots and dubbers.

During the last year of Reagan. Who funded the Smile Jamaica Ark-Ives thru the Student Loan Program.

KRCL was looking for graveyard shows. I was picked for late Sunday/early Monday AM. The show? 3 o’clock Roadblock – 3 hours of Reggae and World sounds at 3am during the coldest winter in 40 years in Salt Lake City.

You gots to pay your dues to get the prime time. I did graveyard for a year and decided that was enough. Then my bredrin, Rutabaga Reese, who was hosting Smile Jamaica was looking to transition out. So I sat in with him from Oct. ’89 til Summer of ’90 when he “retired”. I took over the chair, planted my flag and 28 years later it’s Saturday afternoon Roots Reggae ‘n’ Dub fix

Woke up last Saturday to the news the world’s #1 sports hero (at least before Michael Jordan), Muihammad Ali passed to the next world.

He was a huge influence on Reggae. He was truly a Black Superman to many in the Third World, Africa and Jamaica.

When it looks like this in SLC – that’s called smog

Greetings,

This is my 29th winter in Salt Lake City. The air gets worse and worse. When it looks like the above, it ain’t from Green Smoke.

The weather propagandists call it “inversion.” Fiyah burn that! It’s smog.

You do what you can, but at some point in the 100 days of gunk, it’s gonna hit you. I am dealing with it right now. Cold, congestion and cough. I hacked and sneezed and wheezed for 3 hours of Reggae Radio

Head to the pharmacy for some Allegra-D. No Madam pharmacist. I ‘n’ I don’t cook di meth we smoke sensimilla!
